As one of the best independent comic book publishers, RONIN focuses on creator-led and high-quality comics, moving closer to an ideal industry that supports indie comic creators and fans worldwide.
The flagship franchise of the company, Steel Magnolia, will be showcased later this year. Issue #0 is a prequel story centered on the heist of a U.S. military-controlled WMD, carried out by foreign terrorists. This debut indie superhero comic release features a strong female lead, blending high-action indie comic series storytelling with the timeless struggle between good and evil—a theme that has thrilled comic book fans for decades. RONIN anticipates that Steel Magnolia will be a must-read indie comic book series, propelling the company into the spotlight.
RONIN is a rising beacon of creativity and innovation in an otherwise stagnant industry. Writer. Entrepreneur. Visionary. These are only three of the words that could be used to describe Jarrell Tomlinson, the CEO & Creative Innovations Director of Ronin Entertainment LLC. Jarrell discovered his love for comics during his senior year of college. To pass time between classes, he'd read multiple webcomics and slowly began contemplating creating his own comic. Being inspired by the independence of the creators who produced some of his favorite webcomics, Jarrell decided to take his ambitions even further. Thus, Ronin Entertainment was born !
